Where do I buy tickets to the Memorial?

Tickets for an individual visit can be purchased either online or at the Memorial on the day of the visit.
Online, no extra charge. You will receive by email an e-ticket to show to the staff directly on your phone upon entry.
At the museum, directly at the ticket office, without reservation.
Are there any free days or special openings?

Up-to-date opening hours of the Memorial and access details can be found on the website.
Does the entrance ticket include the guide?

No, the cost of admission includes: access to the Memorial spaces, a tour of the spaces, a visit to the exhibitions or installations present at the time. The guide service is not included. The Memorial provides a free audio guide, which can be downloaded from the site. For guided tours see the appropriate section.
Who is entitled to a reduced ticket?

The reduced rate of € 5.00 is reserved for
- Students from 6 to 18 years of age, with a valid identity document
- University students, with physical or electronic badge
- Over 65, with a valid identity document
Who is entitled to a family ticket?

The family ticket at € 22.00 is reserved for family groups of 2 adults and up to 2 under 8s.
Who is entitled to a free ticket?
V
The free ticket is reserved for the disabled and their carers (if applicable) and children up to 5 years of age.
Free admission also applies to group leaders (1 per group) and licensed guides. Teachers are entitled to free admission ONLY when accompanying school groups, while in the case of private visits teachers are subject to the ordinary rates.
Can I buy a gift card?

You can purchase a gift card by writing to prenotazioni@memorialeshoah.it.
Can I ask for a refund of my ticket?

There is no refund for titles already purchased.
Can I change my booking? What happens if I am late?

Change of reservation is not permitted. In the event of a delay, the ticket will still be valid, but in that case priority access is not guaranteed for those who have purchased the guided tour.
How do school bookings work?

Groups of a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 50 participants can book a guided tour by emailing prenotazioni@memorialeshoah.it. Telephone booking is not possible.

How do I get to the Memorial from Milan Central Station?
V
The Memorial is located at Piazza Edmond Safra 1, at the intersection of Via Ferrante Aporti and Via Palestrina. The nearest metro stops are: M2 Caiazzo and M3 Centrale, which are a 5/7 minute walk from the Memorial. The Memorial is not located inside Milan Central Station: you have to exit the station and take via Ferrante Aporti, go straight for about 500 metres until you find the Memorial on the left.
Are there security checks?

At the entrance to the Memorial there are metal detectors and security personnel trained to carry out thorough security checks on property and persons. Visitors are required to obey the instructions given by the security personnel, who are authorised to intervene if necessary and also to remove those whose behaviour endangers the safety of other users or disturbs them.
Can photos be taken inside the museum?

It is permitted to take photos and videos for personal or research purposes. Filming other visitors is not permitted. For further and different uses, permission must be requested by writing to coordinamento.memoriale@memorialeshoah.it
Are animals allowed?

Yes, it is permitted to bring animals into the Memorial spaces if they are properly leashed.
Is an audio guide available?

Yes, the Memorial provides a free audio guide, which can be downloaded directly from the site.
Where do I buy tickets for a guided tour?

Tickets for guided tours can only be purchased online. You will receive the e-ticket at the e-mail address indicated during registration, to be shown to the staff in charge on the day of the visit.
Is it possible to book a guided tour outside the online timetable?

Yes, it is possible. For groups of at least 15 participants the guide service is free of charge. Visits can only be arranged by e-mail by writing to prenotazioni@memorialeshoah.it.
For individual visitors and small groups it is possible to agree on a guided tour outside the opening hours by writing to prenotazioni@memorialeshoah.it. In the latter case, in addition to the ticket price, a surcharge of € 50.00 will be applied, to be paid by bank transfer at least one week before the agreed tour date. In any case, these visits must take place during the opening hours of the Memorial.
How long does the guided tour last?

The guided tour lasts 45 minutes.
What time should I report to the Memorial for the guided tour?

At least 15 minutes before the booked time.
